“My son made friends with a young man at college who he noticed over the last few weeks isn’t eating anything. He’s started sharing his lunch with him & the young man confessed he is starving. I now make 2 packed lunches so they can both concentrate on doing well in class,” she wrote. Alongside, she also shared an image of lunch for her son and his friend.
After her tweet went viral, the mom shared another post reacting to the overwhelming responses. “I love this thread. I mean, I only made a few sandwiches but you can read so many stories of how people have done incredible things for others. Some truly amazing people in this world who step up for others in their time of need without question. It’s beautiful,” she added.
