Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a neem plant in the Smart Garden located on Smart Road, Bhopal today. Chief Minister Chouhan is planting a sapling every day. Officers, staff and media representatives including collector Bhopal were present on the occasion. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that every citizen should plant saplings, it is need of the hour .

Neem rich in antibiotics is known as the supreme medicine. Neem may be bitter in taste, but its benefits are similar to nectar.According to medical experts, in cases of biting by poisonous insects, finely grinding neem leaves and applying on the bitten area provides relief and the poison does not spread in the body. Applying neem leaves on the wound also helps to heal fast. Paste of neem leaves with olive oil also cures skin infections. Grinding neem leaves with curd and applying it over ringworm provides quick relief. In the condition of kidney stones, taking tow grams ash of neem leaves with water daily, the stones start to melt and come out of the urinary tract.

Drinking decoction of neem bark is also beneficial in malarial fever. Neem oil is beneficial in skin diseases. Its stalk has the properties to eliminate cough, hemorrhoids, pimples and stomach worms. Neem oil massage provides relief in headache, toothache, extremities and chest pain. Its fruit Nimori is used as a phlegm and anthelmintic.
