CM Yogi inaugurates ODOP exhibition at Awadh Shilpgram

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a week-long exhibition at the Awadh Shilpgram to showcase the government’s policy of `sabka saath, sabka vikas’ on the fourth anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in UP.

During the inauguration, he interacted with one of the kids and fed him ‘poshanahar’ and urged all to adopt nutri-kitchens at their home and use boiled drinking water. He also asked the officials to spread proper awareness about the ‘Poshan Pakhwada’ which would be celebrated till March 31.

“We all have something special within us and some weaknesses too and so do specially-abled people,” the chief minister said while interacting with ‘divyangs’ and motivating them to move ahead in their lives.

The chief minister also reviewed the model of the Noida international airport which is set to be operational in 2024. The airport is spread over 5,000 hectares and is being developed by Zurich International Airport AG at an estimated cost of Rs 29,560 crore. It is likely to have six runways.

Praising the ODOP products, Yogi said that the exhibition would help artisans display their products and reach out to national and international buyers.

“Through this exhibition, Indian and foreign buyers will be able to directly connect with artisans to do business,” he said.

Wide-ranging ODOP articles, including footwear of Agra and Kanpur, chikan clothes of Lucknow, scent of Kannauj, terracotta of Gorakhpur, silk of Varanasi, carpet of Bhadohi and brassware of Moradabad will be displayed at the exhibition.
