Perform a miracle by bringing revolution in the field of health: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that perform a miracle in the field of health in the state. For self-reliant Madhya Pradesh, a holistic effort to bring revolution in the field of health is essential. There should be no shortage in providing complete primary health services to the people free of cost from the Health and Wellness Centres. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the Health and Wellness Centers in Mantralaya today.

Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman, Mission Director NHM Smt. Priyanka Das and other officials were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that no shortfall would be left in the target of providing 12 types of services free of cost from health and wellness centres. Chief Minister Chouhan gave instructions for conducting safe deliveries. He said that better and safe environment should be available to the nurses working in the health centres.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that regular monitoring of health and wellness centres should be done. Provide better treatment facilities to the patients at the centres on priority.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the health and wellness centers should check the patients properly. Run a campaign to end TB disease and conduct Netra Jyoti (eyesight) campaign in a better way.

Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Prabhuram Choudhary said that better services are being provided regularly at primary and sub-health centres. He directed to set up delivery centres at these centres.

The officials informed that Madhya Pradesh is moving ahead of the target of the Government of India in making the Health and Wellness Centres functional.

In the year 2021-22, eight thousand 961 centres have been made functional against the target of 8474 of the Government of India. The number of patients receiving medicines from the institution is continuously increasing. Various types of tests are being done at these centres.
