Tyler Robinson was identified as the suspect who assassinated Charlie Kirk on Wednesday, The New York Post reported on Friday, citing law enforcement sources. The FBI initially arrested two people from the scene, but released them later. Authorities also recovered a high-powered, bolt-action rifle, which is believed to be the weapon used in Kirk’s assassination. After launching a massive manhunt for the suspect, officials posted a video on Thursday, showing Robinson jumping off a roof after shooting Kirk. “He wanted to help young people, and he didn’t deserve this,” Trump said Friday, referring to Charlie Kirk. “He was really a good person.”
