Vaccinate, follow Covid appropriate behaviour: CM
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday said that in the present scenario of Covid-19, the only approach of safety is vaccination and embracing the Covid appropriate behaviour.
He was addressing the inauguration of Vedanta’s BALCO Cares Field Hospital established at Sector 36 of Nava Raipur in a virtual ceremony from his official residence. The 100-bed air-conditioned hospital has 90 beds with oxygen-facility and 10 beds with ventilators. Anil Agrawal, Chairman-Vedanta Resources, Abhijit Pati, CEO and Director – Bharat Aluminium Co (BALCO), and other dignitaries were present through virtual mode.
Baghel said the opening of the state-of-the-art hospital will further strengthen the fight against Covid. It will benefit not only people of the capital but also those from surrounding villages, an official communication said.
The Chief Minister warned that while the Covid situation has certainly improved, the crisis is not over. More care should be taken by everyone by maintaining social distance. The use of sanitizer and mask should become a part of life.
