Watch: Delhi Capitals share video of Rishabh Pant performing stretches in road to recovery

Delhi Capitals on Thursday shared another glimpse of Rishabh Pant’s recuperation on their social media handles. Pant, who was the DC skipper before suffering an accident last December, can be seen performing light lunges and stretches as his road to recovery continues.
“Can’t wait to see you roar again, Rishabh,” the franchise tweeted with the accompanying video of Pant working out.
Recently, in a cryptic social media move, Pant had added a second date of birth to his Twitter and Instagram bio as 5th January 2023.
Pant, who met with a horrific accident on December 30th as he was driving alone to his home in Uttarakhand and wanted to surprise his mother for the new year, has an original birth date of 4th October 1997.

The 25-year-old was airlifted from Dehradun – where he was undergoing treatment following his road accident – on the 5th of January and hospitalised at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
Since his surgery earlier this year, Pant has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy. Recently, he had posted an image on his social media along with KL Rahul, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Siraj and Yuzvendra Chahal.
In an interview with IANS, he had said: “I am much better now and making some good progress with my recovery. Hopefully, with the grace of God, and the support of the medical team, I will be fully fit very soon. It is hard for me to say if everything around me has become more positive or even negative.”
