Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam took to social media on Thursday to introduce their characters in the upcoming horror-comedy film ‘Bhoot Police.’

While Jacqueline’s characters in the film is called Kanika, Yami will be seen as Maya.

In the photo, Jacqueline can be seen standing in a field holding a whip in her left hand with a spooky-looking scarecrow in the background.

The actress wrote: “Laaton ke Bhoot baaton se nahi maante! Meet the fabulous KANIKA in #BhootPolice. Coming soon on @disneyplushotstarvip.”

On the other hand, Yami can be seen in a sassy avatar, sporting an off-white dress.

“To enchant all with her charm arrives MAYA, in Bhoot Police. Coming soon on Disney+Hotstar,” she wrote along with the first-look poster.

The Pavan Kirpalani directorial also features actors Arjun Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead.

Last week, the makers of the film also unveiled the first-look poster of Saif’s character. The actor is playing the role of Vibhooti in the horror-comedy.

In the poster, Saif’s character can be seen clad in a leather jacket, a black shirt, and a necklace with a talon dangling from it.

Hours after the poster was shared, it created quite a buzz on social media platforms. A section of social media users are upset with the poster as it features Hindu saints in the background.

Expressing displeasure over the poster, netizens took to their respective social media handles and alleged that Bollywood consistently finds its way to mock Hindu saints.

A few days back, Arjun also took to Instagram to introduce his character Chiraunji from the forthcoming film.

In the first-look poster, Arjun has the vibe of an intense young man. He is seen wearing an oversized black outfit with a knife-shaped pendant and studded rings. Giving an intense look, he is holding a torch in his hand.

Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Akshai Puri and co-produced by Jaya Taurani, ‘Bhoot Police’ is slated to release on Disney+ Hotstar.
