100%: Dwayne Bravo’s candid response on if MS Dhoni will don CSK jersey next year

With MS Dhoni’s future the talk of the town, Chennai Super Kings’ bowling coach Dwayne Bravo seemingly provided an update on the burning issue.
After Chennai defeated Gujarat in the 1st Qualifier and sealed their place in the final of this edition, anchor Mayanti Langer asked Bravo on whether Dhoni will be seen in the iconic jersey next year, Bravo said, “100%.”
“100%. Especially, with the Impact Player rule. It will keep prolonging his career,” the former CSK player said.

On Tuesday, MS Dhoni said he would take a decision on his future closer to the player auction in December.
Speaking during the post-match presentation ceremony, Dhoni said, “I don’t know, I have 8-9 months to decide. I have ample time to decide. Why take that headache now? The auction is in December. I will always come to CSK. I have been out of home since January, been practising since March, so we will see. I’ll always be there for CSK, where it’s playing or something outside.”
This season, Dhoni has played braving a knee injury, which has severely affected his running between the wickets. And there have also been instances where his reflexes behind the stumps have slowed down a bit.
Even though Chennai have made it the final, they are concerned as to whether some of their older players can come back next season as well.
