448 crores for onion, garlic, allocation in supplementary budget for 7th pay scale

Bhopal. The beginning of the monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly was quite comical. The government presented the first supplementary budget of more than 11 thousand 190 crores. In this, provision of 130 crores was made to give additional honorarium to Anganwadi workers and assistants. However, due to opposition to the ruckus and the opposition, had to postpone the session prematurely.

In the 5th monsoon session of the assembly, the government presented a supplementary budget. At the end of the year, this is the last session of the assembly before the assembly elections. In the supplementary budget, the government announced an incentive on the onion and garlic crop. For this, the government had made provision of 448 crores rupees in the budget. In addition to this, the government has made a provision of Rs. 500 crore for MNREGA and Rs. 360 crore for the provision of secretariat under Panchayat and Rural Development Department.

The Government also announced that the sons and daughters of the unorganized laborers would get relaxation in the educational fee. For this, the government has given Rs 9 crore, teacher cadre benefits of 7th pay scale 299 crore, teachers of Tribal Affairs department for the 7th pay scale, 204 million, and the dues to farmers to pay the liabilities of the National Scheduled Tribes Finance Development Corporation, New Delhi 150 Crore for Crop Damage Assistance, Electronic Voting Machine and Vivepat for making Ware House with Rs. 15 Crore this First Supplement Financial provisions were made for many departments in the budget.
