Jake Paul, the social media star-turned-boxer ultimately impressed Mike Tyson the end of their much-talked about fight which kickstarted Netflix’ sports live streaming ambitions, after claiming a unanimous decision victory over Tyson in the eight round bout on Saturday. Here’s 5 eye-popping numbers that sum up the packaged-for-entertainment fight which finished with Tyson calling Paul a “talented fighter half my age” on Twitter, at least. Paul continued to draw flak for pulling out of retirement a washed up boxer, who is more than twice his age.

The astonishing numbers:
18 of 97
Mike Tyson appeared to be gassed out after just the two rounds, and the largely one-sided fight saw the former heavyweight icon, throw just 18 of the 97 punches. Paul won the fight 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73. Tyson’s career count took a small sent, as he is now 50-7.The 97 punches itself was considered a very low number of punches traded over 16 minutes, but there was general relief that Tyson emerged out of the ring unhurt.
8
That’s the number of rounds that Tyson went, and it made him suitably proud, also offering an insight into why he could possibly have agreed to the gig – so his children could take in the enormity of their father’s feat. “To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you,” he wrote on Twitter. He had the power, but the wheels to take him where he needed to be.

The age difference between the two fighters in the ring at Dallas. The Brooklyn-born 58-year-old was originally scheduled to get into the ring on July 20, but that was delayed after Tyson suffered what was then described as an ulcer flare up. $20 million
It all boils down to that. And ensures a safe financial future for Tyson. That payday, as quoted bthe Associated Press. Tyson’s peak boxing years made him over $300 million, butvin 2003, still two years shy of retirement, Tyson filed for bankruptcy. A Celebrity Net Worth website quotes Tyson’s net worth pre-fight estimated to be around $10 million, so he made double in that one Saturday.

60 million
