Accident victim carried in JCB machine to hospital in Madhya Pradesh | Watch

A video showing an accident victim being transported in a JCB earthmover to a hospital in Madhya Pradesh went viral on Tuesday. The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Katni drict where a bike accident occurred but the ambulance was delayed.Chief medical and health officer Pradeep Mudhiya told ANI that the bike accident victim called 108 for an ambulance. There was no ambulance available as the service agency providing ambulance services changed and an ambulance which was supposed to come from a near town got late.Watch vide here

The locals then rushed to get to the hospital and they carried the victim in a JCB earthmover.“Victim had a bike accident in Barhi & called 108 but ambulance wasn’t available as related agency providing ambulance services got changed. Ambulance was coming from near town & got late. Proposal sent for new ambulance, ” the chief and medical health officer said.In a similar incident that occurred last month, a pregnant woman from Neemuch drict of Madhya Pradesh was reportedly transported to a healthcare centre in a JCB machine. This occurred as a result of the torrential rains that pounded areas of Madhya Pradesh, turning the local roadways into rivers.

BBMP polls: Karnataka HC to hear petitions on ward delimitation on September 21
The Karnataka High Court has led a batch of petitions challenging the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) ward delimitation for orders on September 21. The State Election Commission had submitted to the court that it would be releasing the revised electoral l on September 22. The number of wards was increased to 243 from 198. The Supreme Court had said that the High Court could decide on the issue.

Farmers protest, accuse govt of acquiring land for IIT Goa without their consent
Farmers staged a protest in South Goa’s Sanguem on Tuesday claiming the state government was acquiring land for the permanent Indian Institute of Technology Goa campus there without their consent. The IIT was sanctioned in 2014 and has since then been functioning from the campus of the Goa Engineering College and National Institute. Other protesters said they will not allow the demarcation process. Goa chief miner Pramod Sawant said that the identified land has been encroached upon.

Karnataka: Several rivers in spate following heavy rains
Several rivers in Karnataka are again in spate following heavy rains in their catchment areas as well as in the upstream in the neighbouring Maharashtra, officials said on Tuesday. Krishna, Bhadra, Tunga, Bhima, Ghataprabha, Malaprabha, Markandeya Hiranyakeshi and several other small rivers and rivulets are “swollen and flowing dangerously”, sources in the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre said. Landslides were reported in some parts of Charmadi Ghat, according to officials.

Panckula realty firm’s director awarded 1-year jail
The State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Haryana, has awarded one-year jail to the director of a real estate company for not complying with the panel’s orders. In 2020, the commission had directed Virender Bagai, director of Samar Estates Private Limited, Sector 20, Panchkula, to refund ₹47.72 lakh to one Ranbir Singh of Mauli village, Panchkula, for failure to hand over possession of a flat. The orders were not executed.
