It has been a little over a week since the start of 2023, and this particular video of a dog jumping rope with its pet parent is already making a case for being this year’s one of best animal videos. The video of the world record attempt was shared Guinness World Records (GWR) on Instagram. It shows a dog named Balu and its pet parent Wolfgang Lauenburger setting a world record for most skips a dog on its hind legs in 30 seconds. According to the record-keeping organization, the dog did 32 skips in 30 seconds on its hind legs to achieve the record on July 12 last year. They also added numerous hashtags, including #jumprope, #fitnesstraining and #guinnessworldrecords. In the video shared GWR, one can see Balu on its hind legs completing 32 successful jumps in 30 seconds with its owner Lauenburger to achieve the feat. Watch the video below:
Since being shared a few hours ago, the video has received more than 2.8 lakh views, and the numbers are still increasing. A third Instagram user wrote, “Awwwww how adorable.” Many also dropped love-struck and fire emoticons for the dog and its human.
