IND vs AUS: Steve Smith wears a sheepish look, Virat Kohli in splits after bizarre DRS review

IND vs AUS 3rd ODI: Australia captain Steve Smith wore a sheepish look after a terrible review that left his teammate Marnus Labuschagne and India batter Virat Kohli in splits during the third ODI between India and Australia in Chennai on Wednesday.
The incident happened in the second last delivery of the 10th over when Abbott was bowling to Kohli and the right-hander missed a length ball outside off that shaped away.Recommended for you1New IPL 2023 Rule: Captains allowed to name playing XI after toss2WATCH: Kuldeep Yadav leaves Alex Carey clueless, cleans up the left-hander with a sharp turner
While wicketkeeper Alex Carry did not seem interested, Smith had a chat with Abbott and went for the DRS review.
Replays revealed there was no involved because there was clear gap between bat and ball

Meanwhile, a fine opening spell Hardik Pandya and a probing effort Kuldeep Yadav put a tight leash around Australian batters before its tail wagged considerably to take the visitors to a fighting 269 all out in 49 overs against India in the third and final ODI on Wednesday.
While Pandya (3/44 in 8 overs) shaved off the top half, Kuldeep’s (3/56 in 10 overs) rhythm and guile on a helpful Chennai track was the biggest takeaway as the latter’s delivery to remove Alex Carey was the ball of the series.
