A Vietnamese footballer ended up in a hospital after he injured himself while trying to imitate Criano Ronaldo’s famous “siiuuu” celebration during a Vietnamese championship.
After scoring in the match Tran Hong Kien of Viettel FC scored a goal and decided to imitate Criano Ronaldo’s famous celebration, but it went wrong.
The youngster ran to the touchline to perform Criano Ronaldo’s celebration but he landed awkwardly and according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, his landing resulted in torn ligaments in his left knee.

Ronaldo’s trademark goal celebration “si!” (sometimes spelt “siu”) – which is Spanish for “yes!” – upon landing is an expression of delight at scoring.
After receiving an initial treatment his teammates, he did Ronaldo’s new celebration, “peace of mind.” He stood upright with their heads back, eyes closed, and fingers crossed in front of their chests.
However, soon he was seen limping and a few minutes later, he was taken out from the ground on the stretcher.
