Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner changed his guard and batted as a right-hander against Mumbai Indians off-spinner Hrithik Shokeen during the Indian Premier League game on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in the eighth over of the innings when Shokeen bowled a no-ball and Warner was facing the free-hit. He took the stance of right-hander and faced the ball. However, the effort did not bore fruits as Warner mimed the ball and could only get a single out of it.
Warner had a difficult time batting on the sluggish Delhi Wicket. He tried everything but nothing worked. He was even dropped on 37 Piyush Chawla. He later went on to score ah 51 of 47 balls. Axar Patel struck 54 off just 25 balls to help DC post 172 all out after being invited to bat. Patel’s knock was studded with four boundaries and five sixes.

MI chased down the target of 173 in the last ball with captain Rohit Sharma top-scoring with 65 from 45 balls. Tilak Varma and Ishan Kishan chipped in with 41 and 31 respectively.
With the victory Mumbai Indians have regered their first win on the board and Delhi Capitals remain winless after four games.
