Watch: Without gloves off, Sanju Samson effects brilliant one-handed run-out
IPL 2023 LSG vs RR: Sanju Samson held his nerves to produce a brilliant run-out from behind the wickets for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday.
It all happened in the last over of LSG’s innings, when Sandeep Sharma was bowling to Krunal Pandya who missed the ball and the batters decided to steal a e.
But Samson, got low and gathered it well, to hit the bullseye with the gloves on.
Pooran was nowhere close and was run out for 28.

Meanwhile, returning to their fortress after four years, the Royals bowled with a lot of discipline to restrict Lucknow Super Giants to 154/7.
On a pitch not conducive for strokeplay, Kyle Mayers top-scored with 51 before Marcus Stoinis (21 off 16 balls) and Nicholas Pooran (28 off 20) helped the team cross 150.
Trent Boult bowled brilliantly to finish with figures 1-16 in four overs, while Ravichandran Ashwin was also excellent with the ball, ending with 2/23 from his four.
Seasoned New Zealander Trent Boult bowled two brilliant overs to justify RR skipper Sanju Samson’s decision to field first after winning the toss.
