IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians (MI) will square off against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League on Sunday, 30th April at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
While RR are flying high with confidence after their triumph against MS Dhoni’s Chennai, Mumbai Indians’ run this season has been inconsent. In their last game, they suffered a massive loss at the hands of Gujarat Titans.
The Samson-led Rajasthan are second in the points table with five wins in eight matches and 10 points, MI, on the other hand are second from the wrong end of the table with only three victories in seven games to their credit.

Following a brief visit to a special in elbow injuries in Belgium, Jofra Archer is available for selection to play against the Royals. If that happens, the pace spearhead will most likely replace Riley Meredith.

After sustaining a niggle, Kiwi pacer Trent Boult missed RR’s last game but is all set to take the field against Mumbai in tonight’s contest. The left-arm bowler has excellent bowling stats for the visitors with a record of scalping at least a wicket in his very first over in almost all matches.
Arjun Tendulkar to retain his position
Mumbai Indians’ debutante Arjun Tendulkar is all set to retain his place in the playing XI against Rajasthan Royals. The youngster has dismissed three batters in four matches at an economy of 9.35.
