Suryakumar Yadav scores maiden IPL century in match against Gujarat Titans
Suryakumar Yadav continued his fine run of form when he reached his maiden Indian Premier League century with a 6 off the last ball of the Mumbai Indians’ innings against Gujarat Titans on Friday.
Surya was in ominous form as he reached 103 runs in just 49 balls, courtesy of 11 fours and 6 sixes. His explosive innings helped Mumbai post a massive 218/5 against the defending champions.
Even Virat Kohli shared an image of the knock on his Instagram story, saying, “Tula maanla bhau” which loosely translates to Tujhe maan gaya bhau.

After a few subpar games, Surya has finally burst into life in this season’s IPL. In the last match also which was against Punjab, MI rode on SKY’s 35-ball 83 to chase down the target of 200 in 16.3 overs.
Earlier, invited to bat, Mumbai Indians scored 218 for 5 in their Indian Premier League match against Gujarat Titans here on Friday.
Along with SKY’s blering innings, Ishan Kishan and Vishnu Vinod chipped in with 31 and 30 respectively. Rashid Khan was the pick of GT bowlers with figures of 4/30.
