Lionel Messi made an unforgettable debut for Inter Miami, scoring a last-minute free kick and give his team a 2-1 victory over Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
Messi, who was making his first appearance for Inter Miami, after signing with the club, was introduced as a substitute.
He immediately made an impact, creating several chances.
However, it was in the 94th minute, when Messi created his magic again and stepped up to score from the free kick just outside the penalty area. Using his famed left foot, Messi curled the ball into the top corner of the net, giving Inter Miami the win.
With this Messi reached the mark of 808 goals in his career as a professional player.
