Watch: Criano Ronaldo’s towering header secure a draw for Al-Nassr | Football News

Al-Nassr’s Criano Ronaldo scored an equaliser with his trademark header in the dying minutes against Egyptian opponents Zamalek to secure his team a spot in Arab Club Champions Cup quarter-final.
Al-Nassr found themselves behind at the King Fafd Stadium in Ta’if, Saudi Arabia, after Zamalek forward Zizo struck from the penalty spot.

Four minutes from time, the 38-year-old rose to the occasion and leapt for a bullet header in the six-yard box to outsmart goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi.

This was Ronaldo’s second goal of the tournament after breaking his breaking his pre-season drought against the Tunisian club Al-Monastir in his side’s 4-1 victory on Monday.
Against the Tunisian club Al-Monastir, Ronaldo had scored in a similar fashion.

Thursday’s match also featured the debut of Ronaldo’s newest team-mate Sadio Mane, who joins the Saudi side from Bayern Munich following his abortive move to the Bundesliga in 2022.
Mane is the latest big-money recruit to the Saudi Pro League after number of high-profile signings.
