Madhya Pradesh: Man axes wife, occult practitioner to death suspecting infidelity
A 35-year-old man killed his wife and an occult practitioner on Monday morning in Niwari drict over suspicion of infidelity, the police said. Representational image. The accused, identified as Ramgopal Kushwaha, reached the Kotwali police station with an axe and surrendered before the police saying that he killed his wife for cheating on him with the occult practitioner, Niwari superintendent of police Ankit Jaiswal said. Anita Kushwaha (32) and Ghanshyam Raikwar (35) were found dead at Ramgopal’s house in Kena village of the drict. “The accused Ramgopal used to live with his wife and two children constructing a house in a farmland. On Monday morning, he came back from the market where he allegedly saw his wife Anita with Raikwar in an objectionable state,” SP Jaiswal said. He started thrashing Raikwar and attacked them multiple times with the axe. The police arrested him and sent the bodies for postmortem.
