Watch: Imran Khan left out of Pakan Cricket Board’s tribute video | Cricket News

Imran Khan, the World Cup-winning captain of Pakan, is considered one of the greatest all-rounders in the hory of cricket.
As a fast bowler and middle-order batsman, he captained the Pakan national team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup, Pakan’s only victory in the competition.
Khan’s leadership of the Pakan team was inspirational. He instilled a sense of belief and determination in his players and helped them overcome the odds to win the World Cup.
However, despite all his achievements, Khan was noticeably absent from the Pakan Cricket Board’s (PCB’s) tribute video commemorating Pakan’s Independence Day on August 14, with the only photos of the 1992 triumph leaving out the captain that took Pakan to it.

Making hory isn’t just about one day, it’s about the legends we create and the tales we script 💫

After retiring from cricket, Khan entered politics. He founded the Pakan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and served as the 22nd Prime Miner of Pakan from 2018 to 2022. After that, he was removed from office after a successful vote of no-confidence in 2022. He has been slapped with some 150 legal cases since his ouster and was arrested in May on corruption charges.
He was also sentenced to three years in prison and barred from holding public office for five years.
However, with Khan missing from the social media tribute, fans and pundits expressed outrage and deemed it a political act.
