Dravid Sr. himself had represented the state team not just at the senior level but also at U-15, U-17 and U-19 level, making his Ranji debut during the 1991/92 season.
For the India head coach though, to watch his elder son play in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy will be out of picture owing to the tournament clashing with the 2023 ODI World Cup, which begins on October 5.
Dravid and Co are currently engaged in a three-ODI series against Australia. The KL Rahul led side would beat Australia five wickets in Mohali to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
