Watch: Suryakumar Yadav hits 4 back to back sixes off Cameron Green in 2nd ODI vs Australia | Cricket News
India’s Suryakumar Yadav was at his blering best against Australia as he hammered four back to back sixes off Cameron Green in the 2nd ODI at Indore on Sunday.
It happened in the 44th over of the Indian innings when Green came in to bowl. SKY welcomed him with a huge six off his very first ball with a flawless pick up shot. The next ball got the same treatment with Yadav opting for a fine scoop which cleared the boundary.
In the 3rd ball, SKY lofted the delivery over deep extra cover for six more before ending the onslaught with another six which he flocked over deep midwicket as the hapless Green looked on. The last two balls of the over went for 2 runs as the total runs from it amounted to 26.

“I don’t think he needs to worry about the 27th; we’ve picked our team for the World Cup and Surya is in it,” India coach Rahul Dravid had said ahead of the first ODI against Australia in Mohali. Most Read

“We’ve made that decision and we completely back him because he’s got a certain quality and ability that we’ve seen. Yes, we’ve seen those qualities at the moment in T20 cricket, but we know the kind of impact a player like him can make batting at six.
“He can change the course of a game, so we’ve completely backed him. We’re very clear about that. There’s been total clarity on the fact that we’re completely behind him and we know hopefully he’ll be able to turn it around,” he said.
Earlier, India had been sent to bat Australia and are on course of putting on a huge total with centuries from Shubman Gill and Shreyas Iyer as well as a half century from skipper KL Rahul.
