Dangal star Zaira Wasim rescued from Dal Lake after accident

Bollywood actor Zaira Wasim, who was seen in Aamir Khan’s blockbuster movie Dangal, was miraculously rescued by locals in Srinagar after her car fell into the Dal Lake on Thursday.

Zaira Wasim was travelling along with friends when the speeding car went out of the driver’s control on the Boulevard Road, skid off and rammed into the fence along the Dal Lake. The incident happened around 9 pm on Boulevard Road in Srinagar.

“Locals immediately rescued her and her companion. She escaped unhurt, but her companion sustained injuries in the accident,” a local said.

“One of the her friend suffered several injuries, the other three seemed ” said a commuter who helped in rescue.

Locals said the vehicle was moving at a high speed and the driver lost control.

Zaira will soon be seen in her next film, Secret Superstar. Directed by Advait Chauhan, Secret Superstar is the story of a young girl (played by Zaira Wasim who essays the role of Aamir’s daughter in Dangal) who dreams of becoming a famous singer but her father does not want her to take that road.
