Watch: Alejandro Garnacho scores one of the greatest goals in the Premier League | Football News

Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho scored what can be termed as one of the best goals in the hory of the Premier League as the Red Devils rode out 3-0 victorious over Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.
The Argentina winger scored an overhead goal to bring back memories of United legends like Wayne Rooney and Criano Ronaldo. Rooney had famously nailed an overhead kick against Manchester City in 2011 to help the side to a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford.
The match was happening with Everton fans up in arms over sanctions handed to the club for financial mismanagement. The club’s supporters were livid at the 10-point deduction slapped on them a disciplinary commission last week.
The Associated Press reported that many Everton supporters were holding up pink cards featuring the word “corrupt” and the logo of the Premier League, while chanting “We shall not be moved.” One huge banner read: “Where there is power, greed and money … there is corruption.”
But Garnacho’s third-minute goal muted the protestors at Goodison Park — at least temporarily — and made jaws drop everywhere.
The 19-year-old ran towards his own goal to meet a cross from near the line Diogo Dalot. With his back towards the Everton goal, he leapt high in the air to produce an acrobatic bicycle kick from 15 yards that sent the ball soaring into the right-hand top corner. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford could only watch haplessly.

United captain Bruno Fernandes gushed at the quality of the goal after the game. “A goal like this has to silence the crowd — even this Everton crowd,” he said.
Everton manager Sean Dyche added: “The goal changed the feel of the early part of the game.”
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial then scored in the second half to help United go within six points of league leaders Arsenal after 13 games.
