Asus partners with Reliance Jio to offer 100GB 4G data for Asus smartphone users
Asus has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer up to 100 GB of additional 4G data to Asus smartphone users. The offer is available to any Reliance Jio Prime user who has purchased an Asus smartphone on or after June 16, 2017 from either online or offline channels.
Customers eligible for the ‘Additional Data Offer’ can avail up to 10GB additional 4G data for a maximum of 10 recharges of Rs 309 or above. This move by Asus comes hot on the heels of Xiaomi’s announcement that it will be offering 30GB additional 4G data courtesy of Reliance Jio to Mi users.
Not every Asus smartphone user will be eligible to get 10GB of additional data. There are three denominations of additional data on offer – 3GB , 5GB and 10GB. The smartphones eligible for 3GB of additional 4G data are : Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone Max, Zenfone Live, Zenfone Go 4.5 LTE, Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE and Zenfone Go 5.5 LTE.
The smartphones eligible for 5GB of additional 4G data are : Zenfone 2, Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, Zenfone 3S Max, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3 Max 5.2 and Zenfone 3 Max 5.5. And finally, the smartphones eligible for the full 10GB of additional 4GB data are as follows: Asus Zenfone Zoom, Zenfone 3 Deluxe, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 5.2 or Zenfone 3 5.5 .
There are some terms and conditions that prospective users need to be aware of. The offer is only valid on Asus smartphones purchased in India on or after June 16 2017. Secondly, the maximum of 10 recharges of Rs 309 and above need to be availed on or before March 31, 2018. To activate the extra data, you will have to download the MyJio application onto your Asus smartphone and then follow these steps : Open the app – My vouchers – View Voucher – Recharge my number – Confirm recharge – and you’re done.
