The league stage of the Ranji Trophy 2023-24 season is set to culminate on Monday after seven rounds of matches across the Elite and Plate Groups.
Eight teams will secure the berths to the quarterfinals from the Elite Groups while two teams – Manipur and Goa – have been relegated to the Plate Group for the next season.
Hyderabad and Mizoram, contesting in the Plate Group Final, will replace Manipur and Goa in the Elite division next season.
Manipur finished bottom of Elite Group A, losing all seven matches they played in a stacked group. Meanwhile, Goa slumped to the bottom of Group C where Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka led the race to the knockouts.

Record 41-time champions Mumbai emerged as the best side across all Elite Groups, amassing 37 points after seven rounds. While they lost a solitary game, Mumbai won five matches and drew one match. Andhra finished second behind Mumbai in Elite Group B.
The quarterfinals of the tournament will be played simulatenously from February 23. The final will be held from March 10 to 14.
