Zoho CEO Sridhar Vembu recently reacted to a journal’s post on X sharing that people who have made Bengaluru their “home” should know how to speak Kannada. She called out people for not trying to learn a local language despite staying in a place for years. She added that though Kannada is not her mother tongue and she “still struggles with full sentences,” she makes an effort to learn the language.
