American grandmaster Hans Niemann says chess to evolve and wants it to be like UFC or boxing.
Niemann has also showed interest in playing with the top chess players like Arjun Erigaisi, Fabiano Caruana, Hikaru Nakamura, Magnus Carlsen, and Daniil Dubov as he is not participating in any tournament for next two years.
“After 3 matches in the Hans Niemann against the World Series I have tried to arrange matches with Erigaisi, Caruana, Nakamura, Carlsen, and Dubov,” he wrote on X.

In another post on the X, Niemann has asked chess fans to be patient.
“Chess world should be more positive. I promise that the chess will speak for itself in 2025,” he wrote.
Last week, Hans Niemann has revealed his 2025 resolution which is to put World No 3 Hikaru Nakamura in “his place” as he wants to become No 1 chess streamer then No 1 chess player.
“I shall return to streaming tomorrow for the Fischer 960 Qualifier,” Niemann wrote on X.
“It’s time to put my fellow content creators and professional comrades: Hikaru and Gotham Chess in their place.
“My goal for 2025 is to be the #1 streamer, then #1 Chess Player.”
