Mohammad Salah offered 65 million for two seasons at Al-Hilal | Football News
Liverpool forward Mohammad Salah has been having a dream season. In the Premier League from 20 starts he has netted 18 goals and assed 13 times. However, the current 2024/25 season is the last year in his contract and no agreement has been reached yet.
The Saudis have shown a keen interest in the Egyptian to pull him into the Saudi Pro League. According to reports from The Sun the Saudis have offered Salah a massive 65 million for two seasons at Al-Hilal.
Turki Alalshikh who is a close ally of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has posted a picture on his social media of Salah in Al-Hilal Jersey.
Earlier Salah said in an interview that he wanted to win the Premier League in what he termed as his ‘last year’ at the club.
“The first thing that was on the l was to win the Premier League with Liverpool. In my interviews over the last seven or eight years, I always say (I want to win the) Champions League. But this is the first time I’m saying I really want to win the Premier League with Liverpool,” the Egyptian winger said to Sky Sports.
“It’s probably because we didn’t celebrate the one we won in the way we wanted and also, coming back here too, it’s my last year in the club so you want to do something special for the city,” he added.
Asked about his future following Liverpool’s 5-0 win over West Ham United last week, Salah had told Sky Sports: “No, we are far away from that [contract] and I don’t want to put anything in the media. The only thing on my mind is I want Liverpool to win the league and I want to be part of that.
“I will do my best for the team to win the trophy. There are a few other teams catching up with us and we need to stay focused and humble and go again.”
