IPL’s El Clasico: Tickets for CSK vs MI game to go on sale on Wednesday morning | Ipl News

The ticket sales for the IPL’s first Clasico of the season between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians will go on sales online from Wednesday morning. According to Chennai Super Kings, the tickets for the match set to take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, will be available for sale on the franchise’s website chennaisuperkings.com and Drict.in from 10:15am Wednesday.
“The online sale of tickets for the first home game between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the Tata IPL 2025, to be played on 23rd of March 2025 (Sunday) at the MA Chidambaram stadium in Chepauk, will be from 19th of March 2025 (Wednesday) from 10:15 AM through http://www.chennaisuperkings.com. Fans have a huge opportunity to sign up on the Chennai Super Kings website to get access to exclusive content and participate in the quiz contests to stand a chance to win match tickets for CSK’s home games,” the franchise said in a statement.

The cheapest ticket has been capped at Rs 1700 (C,D,E Lower). The other slabs are Rs 2500 (I,J,K upper), Rs 4,000 (I,J,K lower), Rs 3,500 (C,D,E upper). One ticket at KMK terrace comes at a cost of Rs 7,500. As has always been the case, the box tickets are not sold for public as it has been sold separately.
For the season ahead, CSK has got into partnership with the Metropolitan Transport Corporation through which fans can use the bus facilities to travel to Chepauk at free of cost. Special buses have also been arranged to take fans back to the different places in the city from the stadium once the game finishes.
Similarly, the franchise has also announced that it has renewed its partnership with Chennai Metro Rail. Fans travelling to the stadium can use the match-day tickets to get a free ride to and fro.
