Air India Ahmedabad Plane Crash: In a shocking turn of events an Air India air plane with 242 people onboard crashed in Gujarat’s Meghani Nagar area near Ahmedabad airport. The news has sent shockwaves across the country. Several visuals of the plane crash has surfaced online. The incident has prompted responses from several Bollywood actors including Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Riteish Deshmukh, among others. Popular author Chetan Bhagat too expressed shock and wondered about the cause behind the plane crashing just five minutes after take off.
Taking to his official X handle, Sunny Deol wrote, “Devastated the news of the plane crash in Ahmedabad. Praying with all my heart for survivors — may they be found and receive the care they need. May those who lost their lives rest in peace, and may their families find strength in this unimaginable time.”

Riteish Deshmukh wrote, “Absolutely heartbroken and in shock after hearing about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My heart goes out to all the passengers, their families, and everyone affected on the ground. Holding them all in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.”

Randeep Hooda also took to his X handle and wrote, “Heartbreaking to hear about the tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. Television star Aly Goni expressed grief as he wrote on X, “Heartbreaking news about the Air India plane crash. Prayers for the passengers, crew, and their families.”
Celebrity author Chetan Bhagat, however, questioned the cause behind the crash. He wrote, “Shocking news coming out of Ahmedabad about the Air India flight. How could this have happened so shortly after takeoff? Hope we get more details, including on the possible cause.”

As per reports, the aircraft crashed in a denesely populated area near the airport. Post the crash, the local residents immediately rushed to help with the rescue efforts. More details are awaited.
