BJP withdraws support in J-K, Mehbooba Mufti resigns from CM post
The BJP has withdrawn its support from the Jammu and Kashmir government. BJP President Amit Shah held a meeting with all the big party leaders in Delhi today, after which the BJP has decided to withdraw support. Mehbooba Mufti has submitted his resignation to Governor NN Vohra after the announcement of BJP. A meeting of PDP has been convened at four o’clock in the evening. All the BJP ministers in the quota have submitted their resignation.
The BJP has handed over the letter of withdrawal of support to the governor. The demand for governor’s rule has been sought from BJP. Tell you that before meeting with BJP leaders, Amit Shah also met NSA Ajit Doval.
After the decision BJP leader Ram Madhav said that we have taken this decision with the opinion of the Home Ministry, Jammu and Kashmir’s three-year work, all the agencies. After which it is decided that the BJP is withdrawing its support. Ram Madhav said that the mandate that came three years ago was such a situation, due to which this coalition was formed. But the conditions which were becoming more and more in the coalition had become difficult to move forward.
Everyone has decided after the discussion
BJP leader Ramamdhaw said that all the issues that were discussed about the government were discussed. For the past few days, situation in Kashmir has worsened, which is why we have to take this decision. He said that in this regard, the Prime Minister, Amit Shah, the State leadership have spoken to all.
He said that the government had two main goals, in which peace and development was the most important part. We all had to develop in all three parts, for this, we had coalition. Ram Madhav told that the situation that has happened today, in which a huge amount of terrorism has increased in the Kashmir Valley. Radicalization is rapidly moving forward.
Ram Madhav said that due to the circumstances, fundamental rights were coming in danger in the valley. Journalist Shujaat Bukhari is murdered in Srinagar city. From the situation that was being created, the Press Freedom, Freedom of Speech, came under threat.
He said that as far as the Central Government is in its role, the Center has fully supported the state for three years. Many projects have also been implemented. He said that we had implemented a seizure in Ramzan month to establish peace but peace was not established in it. Things were going deteriorating.
Center fully supported in Kashmir
The BJP leader said in the press conference that the central government has fully supported the security. The Home Minister has constantly visited the valley, tried to negotiate with everyone. He said that we prohibit Pakistan from doing cross-border activities, 4 thousand bunkers were built.
He said that even though we were in the government, but the main leadership was in the hands of the PDP. Therefore, we were unable to handle these situations, the state government failed on many issues. Peace can not be established in the valley, apart from the development work in Jammu and Ladakh also halted. There was a discrimination between the people of Jammu and Ladakh.
