Jeetendra opens up on being a builder days after selling land for Rs 855 cr, says construction industry run cunning people: ‘Log chalak hain’ | Bollywood News

Veteran actor Jeetendra entered the business of real estate and construction a few years ago, and now the 83-year-old actor has a thriving empire. In a new interview, Jeetendra shared that he is “not like a typical builder” and shared that he has made decisions that are unlike the popular builders. Talking about people in the construction business, Jeetendra said that he perceives them as clever and cunning, and shared that people in the film industry are largely emotional.
In a chat with the YouTube channel Visionary Studioz, Jeetendra said, “I am not like a typical builder.” He added, “Typical builders sell the property before it is made, but I don’t like that. So I decided that I will construct the building first, and then I will sell it. I might appear foolish as a normal businessman.” He added, “I have spent 50 years in the film business and in my time, I don’t think I have seen people as nice as them… such nice, kind-hearted people. People in the film business are very emotional but when I started this business, I realised that they have a different system.”
“Log chalak hain, sayane hain (People are clever, cunning here),” he said and added that perhaps, he wasn’t as clever in this department.

He continued, “In the movies, people work with emotions but that doesn’t work in real estate. All the successful builders who ex today, they have all done good work and people have appreciated them. And those who are riffraff, those who just run away after completing the construction, make false promises, most of them are behind bars. You are only appreciated for your good work.”
