ICC World Test Championship Standings Updates after India vs England 5th Test

ICC World Test Championship 2025-2027 Standings: A spirited effort pacer Mohammed Siraj led India to a horic six-run win over England in the fifth and the final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at the Oval in London on Monday as India levelled the series 2-2. The win also gave Shubman Gill-led India 12 crucial points as they moved to third place in the World Test Championship (2025-27 cycle) points table after the end of the series.
India, who were fourth ahead of the Oval Test, exchanged places with England, who have dropped to fourth after being condemned to their second loss in this cycle. Both India and England have won two matches, lost one and drawn one to gain equal points, but the ICC had docked two points from England due to their slow over rate at the Lord’s Test.
India have 28 points from five Tests and a PCT of 46.67, while England are left with 26 points and a 43.33 PCT. Australia continue to lead the standings after a dominant show during their recent tour to the Caribbean Islands, where they whitewashed West Indies 3-0 in the three-match Test series to have an unblemished record in this cycle.

Sri Lanka are third with 66.67 PCT and Bangladesh are fifth, while the West Indies find themselves in sixth place with 0 points from three Tests.
New Zealand, Pakan and South Africa are yet to play any matches in this WTC cycle. Defending World Test Champion South Africa beat Zimbabwe 2-0 in the recently concluded Test match series, but since Zimbabwe is not part of the current WTC cycle, the series was not counted in for the standings.
