It’s rare for actors and people in the entertainment industry to disappear from social media after being in the limelight for a while. But Warina Hussain, who made a much-talked-about debut in the Salman Khan production Loveyatri, where she starred alongside Aayush Sharma, did just that and vanished from the digital space. However, she has now made a comeback on Instagram, and she recently revealed that she has changed her name.
Warina Hussain shared an Instagram post on Wednesday, announcing that she has changed her name to Hira Warina. The note read, “I’ve officially changed my name to Hira Warina. A decision rooted in numerology and guided spirit. New chapter. Same essence. Just more aligned than ever. To those who’ve stayed close, your love means more than you know.” Fans wished her well. A fan wrote, “New name new beginning all the best.” Another wrote, “Touchwood for everything this new name brings.”
On Tuesday, after a gap of months, Warina had shared a selfie with the caption, “Long time no see 🙋🏻♀️.” She had also deleted most of her Instagram posts. She currently has 2.2 million followers on Instagram.
Warina had announced her Instagram exit in 2021 and revealed that her team would manage her account. Making the last post on her social media, Warina wrote, “I remember reading somewhere that you don’t have to announce your departure because this isn’t an airport but I’ll do so for my friends and fans, whose love has always been my strength. This is my last social media post but my team will continue to manage my account so you can stay up to date on my work.”
Warina made her acting debut in Loveyatri, which also marked the launch of Salman Khan’s brother-in-law and Arpita Khan’s husband Aayush Sharma. The film was a box office failure and was panned critics. After her acting debut, she shared the screen with Salman Khan in the item song “Munna Badnaam Hua” in Dabangg 3. She announced her departure from social media in 2021. At the time, she was scheduled to star in a few films but it appears that nothing materialised.
