Sara Ali Khan celebrated her birthday among her closest friends on Monday. She cut a delicious (and very healthy) birthday cake and flashed the biggest smile for the camera.

The up and coming actor and daughter of Saif Ali Khan, looked happy and beautiful as ever in pictures shared from the small get-together on her 23rd birthday, with friends. Chef Kelvin Cheung made the amazing cake for Sara and even shared a picture and a video of the birthday girl cutting it. “Happy happy birthday @saraalikhan95 !!! -Gluten free Sugar free dairy free “healthy-Ish” birthday Kel cake!,” he captioned the photo. We wonder what he put in the cake after all.
Sara was spotted in a car with her brother Ibrahim on her birthday night in Mumbai. She wore a beige kurta and big, ethnic hoop earrings to go with it. Also seen at the party were mum Amrita Singh and actor Bhumi Pednekar. Check out more pictures:

Sara didn’t host a big party as she was busy shooting for Simmba. “This year, her plans are quite different,” says an insider, close to the newbie actor. “Sara, who otherwise rings in her birthday with friends and family, will spend the day rehearsing for a song from her upcoming film.” Apparently, the actor has dedicated the entire day to “learning the dance routine for her film as the shoot date for the number is nearing”.

The insider adds, “The song that Sara is rehearsing for is an important and big one. Although the makers asked her to take an off for her birthday, she has chosen to continue rehearsing.”

Apart from Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, Sara will also be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput.
