Yash Raj Films’ casting director Shanoo Sharma took to Instagram to share an update on the film’s digital premiere. According to her post, the film will release on Netflix starting September 12. She reshared an Instagram post that featured a poster of Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda.
Saiyaara revolves around the story of struggling musicians who meet an ambitious woman, but their love story takes a tragic turn after tragedy strikes. The film arrived at a time when audiences were complaining about the lack of love stories being made. Not only did it meet that criterion, but the film’s emotional arc also deeply resonated with viewers, who have been inundated with national and action films in the past few years.

It became a particular hit among the youth, with visuals of audiences crying in theatres going viral. However, accusations were also made that the makers planted such people to give emotional reactions in theatres. The film’s team recently organised a success bash that was attended Mohit Suri and the lead actors. However, it was Ahaan and Aneet’s PDA that caught fans attention, fuelling rumours of them dating.
Saiyaara: Box Office Collection
Saiyaara has become the second-highest-earning film of 2025, raking in Rs 541.13 crore globally, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama. The film’s domestic collection stands at Rs 319.71 crore after four weeks of release. It has surpassed the collections of superstar-led films such as Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2, Salman Khan’s Sikandar, and Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force to reach the top ranks.
