Congress accuses: 1200 crores mining scam in the Shivraj Sarkar
Bhopal: In the election year, a tour of allegations and references in Madhya Pradesh’s politics continues. After the business and e-tendering scam, the Congress has now accused the Shivraj government of having a 1200 crore mining scam. The Congress has demanded the resignation of CBI probe and CM Shivraj Singh and mining minister for this.
State Congress spokesman Shobha Ojha said, “In the preservation of BJP leaders in the BJP government, mining mafias have illegally excavated sand of sand in the entire state. The illegal mining of sand has damaged the revenue of the state and the government has benefited the sand mafia and contractors.
Government facilities given to contractors
Shobha said that in the year 2016, the mineral department allocated the mines by e-auction in the year 2020 and 25 percent of the annual rate was deposited as security deposit. According to the conditions, according to the conditions, the annual offer price was to be divided into 12 installments and deposited with 12 post-dated check contractors for the monthly work plan. However, instead of sharing equal installments in it, the government facilitated contractors to fix installments at their convenience.
Illegal mining done by contractors giving low royalty
Shobha alleged, while taking advantage of the contractors, mining more and more illegally by paying less royalties, due to which the contractors paid more and more sand salaries every month, and continuing continuously till May 2017 . Even before the completion of one year of contract period, the mineral department issued the order to suspend the excavation work of contractors from the quarry.
