Param Sundari, being bankrolled Maddock films, is the kind of traditional man-meets-woman love story that has been missing from Hindi cinema for a long time. The supporting cast features Sanjay Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Inayat Varma, and Malayalam actors like Renji Panicker playing characters belonging to the native diaspora of Kerala. The screenplay is co-written Gaurav Mishra, Aarsh Vora, and Tushar Jalota, and as the marketing material put out till now suggests, an intercultural love story reminiscent of the Yash Raj romances featuring Shah Rukh Khan.
