Baaghi 4 box office collection day 3: Tiger Shroff’s film turns out weakest in franchise, trails behind The Conjuring: Last Rites as it mints Rs 31.25 cr | Bollywood News

After the massive failure of his previous film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, fans were excited to see Tiger Shroff return to the big screen with a brand-new installment of his Baaghi franchise, which has a track record of delivering massive hits. Within the three days of release, Baaghi 4 hasn’t shown the exceptional performance that the previous Baaghi films delivered but has maintained a steady pace. On Sunday, the film minted Rs 10 crore, taking its total domestic collection to Rs 31.25 crore.
Baaghi 4 box office and occupancy
A lot was riding on Baaghi 4, but the Sajid Nadiadwala production has received a lukewarm response so far. It started its box office journey on Friday minting Rs 12 crore. Unlike other films, which usually see a surge in collections over the first weekend, Baaghi 4 saw a decline of 23 percent in its collection on Saturday, earning Rs 9.25 crore. The film maintained a similar pace on Sunday, minting Rs 10 crore.
The film’s lukewarm performance on Saturday was also due to Ganesh Visarjan. However, to lessen its impact, the makers gave a 50 percent discount on theatre tickets, which continued till Sunday. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the same and wrote, “#Baaghi4 witnessed a dip on Saturday, with business impacted the #GaneshVisarjan festivities in several parts of the country… The 50% off offer continues on Sunday, so the weekend numbers will remain respectable.”

The film had an overall 27.08% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, with maximum footfall of 37 percent seen in evening shows. It had maximum screens — 792 — in the NCR region, where it saw 31 percent footfall, whereas in Mumbai, where it had 549 screens, it saw around 24 percent footfall. Baaghi 4 is directed A. Harsha, marking his Hindi directorial debut.

Baaghi 4 vs Baaghi 3 and Baaghi 2
It might be too early to say this, but Baaghi 4 is turning out to be the worst-performing film of the hit franchise. The film has failed to surpass its predecessors. While Baaghi 3 minted Rs 53.83 crore within 3 days of release and Baaghi 2 raked in Rs 73.1 crore, these numbers make Baaghi 4’s collection of Rs 31.25 crore within the same time period look petite.
Baaghi 4 vs The Conjuring: Last Rites
Baaghi 4 is also facing strong competition from the Hollywood film The Conjuring: Last Rites. The film started its box office journey on Friday alongside Tiger Shroff’s film and has minted Rs 50.50 crore net in India within 3 days of release, which is significantly more than Baaghi 4’s Rs 31.25 crore.
