Samsung Galaxy M40, Nokia 1 Plus, Xiaomi Mi 9T and more: Smartphones launching in June 2019
With a brand new month, there awaits a long queue of smartphones that are going to arrive in India or outside the country. Last month there were a majority of flagships phones scheduled for launch such as OnePlus 7 Pro, Honor 20 Pro, Google Pixel 3a, etc while this month phones across segments ranging from premium to entry-level are set to debut in the markets.
June 2019 appears to be that time of the year when companies will introduce an upgraded model of last year’s launched devices. Let’s take a detailed look at what’s in store for us this month.
Upcoming smartphones of June 2019
Samsung Galaxy M40: Samsung is going to add the fourth device to its online-only Galaxy M portfolio on June 11 this year. The phone has been confirmed to get an infinity-O display, triple camera setup and a fingerprint scanner mounted at the back. Samsung has also put up a microsite on its official website with the “notify me” option.
Nokia 1 Plus: Finnish smartphone maker is expected to introduce Nokia 1 Plus, the successor to the Nokia 1 on June 6. The phone is said to be an upgraded version of the Nokia 1. It is rumoured to get Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, a 5.5-inch display and a 2GB of RAM.
Nokia 9 PureView: HMD Global is expected to finally bring its flagship, Nokia 9 PureView smartphone in the Indian market this month in June. The phone has already been launched in the United States and a few European markets.
Xiaomi Mi 9T: Xiaomi recently released a teaser of Mi 9 series via Twitter. Though the company did not reveal the name of the device it is going to unveil this month, it hinted at the Mi 9 lineup which is highly anticipated to include Mi 9T. Online reports suggest that the phone will bear similar features as that of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 9.
