Next, the privacy and security of user data are at the core of Android 10. Lastly, Android 10 brings enhanced digital wellbeing controls.

Android 10: 10 features of the new Android version you should know
Live Caption
With Android 10, users will automatically see the caption media playing on their phones.
Google says that users can enable the function with a single tap. “Live Caption automatically captions videos, podcasts, and audio messages—even stuff you record yourself.” The best part is the feature will work without ever needing Wi-Fi or cell phone data.

Dark Theme
Google promised Dark Theme on Android devices long back, which will bring a system-wide dark mode to a device. With Android 10, users can choose the Dark theme to keep the battery running for a more extended period.

Smart Reply
Google has been working on enhancing Smart Reply feature for a long time, and with Android 10, it says, “Take action right as you reply.”
In Android 10, user can reply to messages in more ways than ever where replies can include emojis or stickers.

Sound Amplifier
Android 10 is bringing much-needed upgrades to audio experience where the phone can boost sound, filter background noise, and fine-tune to how they hear best.

Gesture Navigation
The gesture navigation on Android 10 is one of the biggest features of the new version where Google seems to be more inspired by gestures on the iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and iPhone XS Max. Users can go backwards and forwards, pull up the home screen, and swipe up to see their open apps with the help of gestures.

Privacy Setting
Android 10 now offers privacy settings at one place, making it easier for users to find and adjust the settings without wasting time to look for the tool.

Web and App Activity
Google is improving the way it stores users’ web and app activity with the new activity tracker feature where users can decide for how long the data should be stored.

Preventing device tracking
Android 10 is bringing features that disables device location tracking, which means the app can no longer access device details like device IMEI, serial number, and similar identifiers.

Better security updates
Google promises faster Android security updates with Android 10.

Focus Mode
There’s a new focus mode that pauses distracting apps like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and more – when you need time to focus.
