“The FC headquarters is under attack. We are responding and the area is being cordoned off,” said Peshawar Capital City Police Officer Dr Mian Saeed.

Gunmen have launched attack on the headquarters of the Federal Constabulary in Pakan’s northwestern city of Peshawar on Monday, senior police officials said, Dawn reported.

A Reuters report, quoting police, further added that two blasts were heard in the vicinity.

“The FC headquarters is under attack. We are responding and the area is being cordoned off,” said Peshawar Capital City Police Officer Dr Mian Saeed Ahmad, according to Dawn.
