Suniel Shetty to play a Sikh cop in his upcoming Hollywood film Call Centre; shooting begins in Hyderabad
After making his comeback to the big screen after a gap of four years with last month’s big Kannada release Pehlwaan, Suniel Shetty is now heading to Hollywood. Towards the end of last month, the Dhadkan star started shooting for his upcoming Hollywood film titled Call Centre. Directed by American-Chinese filmmaker Jeffrey Chin, Call Centre is reportedly based on a true story about a real-life multimillion-dollar call centre scam that was taken down by an Indian cop.
Suniel Shetty will be seen playing the role of a Sikh cop in the film and towards the end of the last month, he had even started the shoot for the film in Hyderabad. A source revealed,
Suniel is expected to wrap up the shoot by the end of the year. Even though the movie is predominantly in the English language, there are plans to dub it in Hindi and Telugu as well. The fans of Suniel Shetty will be in for a treat as he will be seen doing some action in the film including a lot of chase sequences.
During his four-year hiatus before the release of Pehlwaan, Suniel Shetty was seen in a brief cameo in A Gentleman. But, he is as busy as ever with quite a few big films in the pipeline including Rajinikanth starrer Tamil film Darbar, Mohanlal starrer big-budget Malayalam epic, Marakkar: The Lion of the Arabian Sea and the Hindi ensemble film, Mumbai Saga co-starring John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, among others.
