Amitabh Bachchan shares Jaya Bachchan’s throwback pic and the caption will leave you in splits

Amitabh Bachchan is a busy man. Yet, he makes sure that he interacts with his fans and updates them about his thoughts on social media every day. The Bollywood megastar is very active on social media and shares several gems with his fans every now and then. Today, he shared a beautiful old photo of wife and actress Jaya Bachchan on Twitter and added a hilarious caption to it.

Big B shared a photo of a young Jaya Bachchan standing next to him, but the framing is such that Amitabh Bachchan’s face is not visible in the pic. The caption of the post reads, “the better half .. !! quite obviously the other half is irrelevant .. and therefore unseen.”

Several fans of the Bollywood star reacted to the post and complemented Big B’s sense of humour. One person wrote, “Too sweet”. Another commented, “This happens when one is a foot taller than the wife!! I know exactly how it feels.” Many fans even wished a happy Karwa Chauth to the celeb couple.

On the work front, Jaya Bachchan is on a break from acting and was last seen on the big screen in a cameo role in 2016’s Ki & Ka, which also starred Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, has several projects on his plate. Currently, he is busy with Kaun Banega Crorepati on the small screen, which is topping TRP charts. Besides that, he is working on films like Jhund (directed by Nagraj Manjule), Brahmastra (also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt), Chehre (also starring Emraan Hashmi) and Gulabo Sitabo (also starring Ayushmann Khurrana), among others.
