A Bengaluru man has given the city’s everyday chaos a Grand Theft Auto-style makeover, using AI to imagine what the popular video game might look like if it were set in India’s tech capital. From Silk Board traffic and sudden Koramangala rain to dosa stops and nightlife on MG Road, the video packs several familiar Bengaluru experiences into a GTA-inspired parody.A Bengaluru man used AI to imagine GTA set in the city, featuring traffic, food, rain and popular landmarks. Basically life if GTA had a Bangalore Map”From HSR Layout to Silk Board trafficTitled “GTA Bangalore: Sudeep on Mission”, the video follows an IT employee through what appears to be a typical day in Bengaluru, recreated in the visual style of the Rockstar Games franchise. The clip begins with the protagon leaving his home in HSR Layout, where a security guard salutes him before he gets into a white cab. What follows is perhaps one of the most recognisable Bengaluru experiences: getting stuck in traffic around Silk Board Junction, surrounded BMTC buses, cars and auto-rickshaws.The journey then takes him through Koramangala amid a sudden spell of rain. He later reaches Church Street, where a GTA-style “Mission Passed” message appears on the screen. The character is also seen stopping for a South Indian breakfast featuring dosa, idli and vada.Explaining the idea behind the creation, Suryansh wrote in the comments: “Asked myself what GTA would look like if Rockstar grew up in Koramangala. so I made it.”Bengaluru nightlife gets the GTA treatmentAs evening sets in, the video shows the cab driving past Vidhana Soudha against the sunset before shifting to MG Road, where the protagon heads into a neon-lit club and dances with the crowd. The parody, however, ends in quintessential GTA fashion. While walking on a wet street late at night and looking at his phone, the character is hit a speeding auto-rickshaw and sent flying. The screen then cuts to the game’s familiar “WASTED” ending.Check out the post here:(Also read: ‘2 hrs 15 mins in traffic’: Bengaluru traveller says rain nearly made him miss flight)Internet reactsThe video drew amused reactions from users, many of whom praised the concept.
