CM meets Union Ministers,expresses gratitude
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan called on the Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar and the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Chemicals and Fertilizers, Mansukh Mandaviya, in New Delhi today. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers for the approvals given in the schemes for Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Chouhan informed Union Agriculture Minister Shri Tomar about the important steps taken in the agriculture sector in Madhya Pradesh and their follow-up. He also informed about the efforts being made especially for agricultural diversification. The Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh would bring forth best results by doing concrete work in the field of agricultural diversification. Chief Minister Chouhan said that a plan is ready to speed up the millet mission, processing of food and agricultural products. Farmers are being motivated by providing necessary facilities for natural farming and main crops wheat, gram, paddy and soybean, besides sandalwood cultivation and bamboo production.
Chouhan thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya for continuously providing adequate urea and DAP to Madhya Pradesh. Chouhan expressed his gratitude for the continuous cooperation from the central government for this work.
Chouhan met Union Health and Family Welfare and Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and discussed about the supply of urea as per the requirement of farmers in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan told that he ensures supply of fertilizer and urea in every district by conducting regular review. All collectors have also been directed in this regard. The Union Chemical Minister said that necessary steps have been taken for the availability of fertilizers in sufficient quantity to Madhya Pradesh. He assured Madhya Pradesh to provide adequate urea and DAP in future also.Chief Minister Chouhan apprised the Health Minister Mandaviya about achieving the target of 100 percent vaccination by applying both doses of Corona vaccine in the month of December in the Vaccination Maha Abhiyan in Madhya Pradesh and the preparations to deal with Omicron.
Crisis Management Committees, voluntary workers, administrative officials, religious leaders and common citizens together fought Corona infection. All precautions were taken seriously to prevent Corona.
All necessary arrangements were also made in the hospitals. Oxygen plants are continuously increasing in the state. In view of the possibility of a third wave of Corona, proper arrangements in the hospitals have been ensured. All the ministers of the state have visited the hospitals in the districts. Precautionary measures have been increased as soon as Omicron cases cropped up.
